Steeped in the beauty of rolling hills, winds the Inpofna River
with waterfalls, dams and water wheel, cradled in an avenue of Liquid
Amber trees and English Country Forest. The awesome beauty of our
stained glass thatched Chapel with beautifully craved pews and Baby
Grand Piano is a breath taking sight and can accommodate up to 300
guests.
Bathed by the African sun, Old Balgowan Farm is situated on the
R103 near Nottingham Road, which makes Old Balgowan Wedding Venue easily
accessible, and a haven for children.
Our Wedding Venue with
the backdrop of farm lands, blue skies, lush green gardens for that
picture perfect moment. Fantastic, unlimited bridal couple photographic
opportunities - African farmlands, dam with water wheel, Arabian horse
and farm animals, Arabian riding saddle, English country forest, fire
pit, ox wagon, river and cascading waterfall.
Besides our amazing scenery, unbeatable hospitality, tranquil
environment, we have on offer from our own winery and cheesery, wines,
liqueurs, sherries and cheeses.
Old Balgowan incredibly versatile location
offers a number of options, you may choose your dream setting as a
Country Farm style wedding, in our English Country Forrest or a picnic
wedding along our winding river banks. We are able to accommodate up to
350 guests. Our in house wedding coordinator can work with our brides
making her wedding day a memorable and flawless occasion.
